In the Community
We know these past few months have been challenging. One of our core values is Care and Respect Deeply. With this spirit in mind, we looked for ways to help local businesses. We chose 4 businesses as part of our efforts to give back. Our team was excited to participate in our COVID-19 Community Initiative and support Sgt. Pepperoni’s, BFit Massage, Old Vine Kitchen, and Lori’s Kitchen!
The MCTC is O.C.’s largest USTA sanctioned tennis tournament, raising funds through professional exhibition matches and auctions that benefit HomeAid O.C.’s mission to end homelessness. The tournament has raised over half a million dollars for building housing over the last 6 years. Our firm has been proud sponsors and participants in the tournament since the partnership between MCTC and HomeAid began.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
“FCA is a way to unite two passions, faith and athletics, to impact the world. FCA empowers coaches and athletes through their example of living out Christian values. FCA OC works with many local colleges. The organization has been inspiring athletes in the U.S. and worldwide since 1954. Our firm has been involved with FCA OC for years as part of the Board and involvement with local events.”
JDRF raises millions of dollars every year to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes (T1D). Since T1D never sleeps, neither does JDRF. One of our team members, Jon Lugo, chaired the 2019 JDRF Fund a Cure campaign for the OC Chapter of JDRF, as finding a cure for T1D has become a personal mission for us. When Xavier (Baby X) was diagnosed with T1D at 14 months old, Jon and his family vowed to stop at nothing until they found a cure for this relentless disease.
HomeAid O.C.’s mission is to end homelessness in OC through housing, service, and advocacy. The organization has built over 60 shelter projects over the past 30 years, providing over 1,900 beds nightly in our county. We are proud to support HomeAid’s mission over the past 15 years. Our firm prepares and serves meals regularly at the Isaiah House (a HomeAid project) located in Santa Ana.
